| My Nettle Poodle |
It was October of 2008. I took this picture of her at the Fresno Fair. She was already showing signs of being tired but managed to put a smile on her face for me. On that day she had asked me to paint some eye brows on her face and I tried to do a good job of it. Her face was so beautiful that she didn't need much to make her pretty. It was heart breaking knowing it would be my last time at the fair with her. I wanted to cherish everything we did. Time went by so very fast and before long we were on our way home. She pulled the seat in my car as far back as she could and closed her eyes but before that she said to me, "Mom, I am happy I had you all to myself today." I felt the same way. I wish I could turn back time and that she was here with me. I miss her so very much. My Nettle Poodle.
